  1. Are your food tours suitable for all ages?

    Our Food Tours can be enjoyed by everyone.

    Children over the age of 5 years old are welcome to the tour. Children between ages of 5-9 years old pay a discounted rate.

  2. Do you do private/ bespoke food tours?

    Yes, this is something we can arrange, subject to availability. Please get in touch with us to discuss it.

  3. What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?

    Please let us know any dietary requirements at time of booking so that we can cater for you. We’ll do our best to cater for most dietary requirements. If we can’t cater for your dietary requirements, we’ll give you a full refund prior to the tour.

    However, I’m afraid we can’t cater for vegans due to the selection of restaurants.

  4. Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

    Yes, please don’t show up without a ticket as the tour might be fully booked due to our small groups policy. For last minute bookings, please contact us on Instagram at @almareadafoodtours or email us to info@almareadafoodtours.com

  5. Are there bathrooms available during the tour?

    Yes, there’ll be bathrooms in most stops.

  6. Is there alcohol in the tour?

    Yes, quantities depend on the food tour you choose. However, if you don’t drink alcohol, we can easily swap an alcoholic drink for something else - just let us know!

  7. What if it rains?

    Food tours happen, rain or shine! It’s unlikely to rain these days but if it does, the tour happens anyway :)

  8. What is the maximum number of guests per tour? Do you have a minimum number?

    The maximum number of guests per tour is 10. We do this so that everyone can have the best experience possible.

    We have a minimum number of 2 bookings for the tour to go ahead. If only one person books the tour, I reserve the right to cancel it 24 hours before and you’ll be issued a full refund.

  9. How much walking is involved?

    There’s a bit of walking over the course of 2km. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen, a hat, and a bottle of water. Algarve summers can be hot.

  10. What is your cancellation policy?

    Group Tours: You can cancel the tour up to 24 hours before the tour starts to be issued a full refund.
    Private Tours: You can cancel the tour up to 72 hours before the tour starts to be issued a full refund.
